📢 Important Update: VRS @ Risk! 🚨

Minnesota’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) is facing severe budget cuts, impacting both service providers like L&S Consulting and the individuals we support. These changes mean reduced access to employment specialists, fewer one-on-one sessions, and potential job losses for dedicated staff.

💡 What This Means for You:

Clients may experience delays or reductions in support.
Some services are being shifted in-house, limiting the frequent, personalized 1:1 assistance previously provided by L&S and other vendors.

Minnesota is an Employment First state—consistent and effective services are crucial for meaningful employment outcomes.
📣 How You Can Help:

Make your voice heard—contact your local legislators and express your concerns.

If you or someone you know is receiving fewer services, you can file a complaint with the Client Assistance Project (CAP) for support.

CARF Accreditation and VRS Requirements
To provide quality services to our clients, our organization is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). This accreditation ensures that we meet high standards for employment and community services, focusing on personalized, effective, and measurable support to help clients achieve meaningful employment and community integration.

Reaccreditation is required every three years to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with CARF standards, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to excellence and client-centered outcomes.
