👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏A new transit service has been created for people in the Twin Cities metro region who use waivers. Metro Move is a newly created transit option service from the Metropolitan Council that will serve individuals who participate in BI, DD, and CADI waivers.
The new service will begin on May 6, 2024, and will have fare-free boarding, ADA-accessible vehicles, extended hours, and an expanded service area. Metro Mobility eligibility is not required. Metro Move designed this service to increase access to the community for people in the Twin Cities who receive waiver services.
